Are budget tyres actually safe, or am I better off paying for premium?

Every tyre we sell is road legal and tested, so a budget tyre is not an unsafe tyre. What you are paying for further up the range is wet braking distance, tread life and noise, and whether that is worth it depends entirely on your mileage and the roads you use. Someone doing motorway miles on the A483 every day gets their money back from a premium tyre. Someone doing school runs round Gwersyllt and Llay often does not. Tell us how you actually drive and we will point you at the right one rather than the dearest. Have a look at the current offers too, as there is cashback running on several brands.
